Our Windsor Rapid Caravan

Our Caravan
We have a tandem axle, aircond & ensuite Windsor Rapid caravan.
18.5′ external length with 2 queen size beds that fold out of the ends to make it 25′ of living space.

Pictures of the van at home.

Patrol & Rapid

Well the first trip has been completed – a very wet long weekend in Tumby Bay. We all survived so the van must be big enough for our family of 5. No1 son (13yo) was planning to sleep under the annexe but the weather put paid to that!

Two views of our setup:

Springover conversion done and 14s changed to 15s. Sits beautifully behind the Patrol now.

On the grid at Bathurst. They were a slow couple of laps.

Great setup mate. Just a question regards the spring over setup. Did you use the same u bolts and literally just flip it over?

    • No, I fitted new springs and U-Bolts just to be sure there wouldn’t be any issues.

Wife and I recently bought a Rapid and I’m looking forwart to modifying it a little. It’s a bog stock off roader and i would like to add a front box. we’re off to port vincent next week too.
I can’t see your photos and my photo bucket has a hole in it…
If you could forward a bit to my work email, that would be great…

Anyway, all the very best and maybe catch you on the road…

    cheers. Nemo..
