Nice little day trip today. Went to Wilpena Pound where my bro and sis-in-law were staying. Took them out for a “lap of the block”.

North to the Bunyeroo road junction but unfortunately it was closed. We kept going North before turning West into Brachina Gorge.

Followed the track right through to the Northern Bunyeroo entrance. This end was marked as closed too.

Continued West to the rockfall area where the endangered Yellow Foot Rock Wallbies are near the road.

After photos here we continued West, out onto the plains.

We turned South on the highway and drove down to the Moralana Scenic Drive.

This took us East back to Wilpena Road and then North back to the Pound.

About a four hour trip.

PS got the ‘cruiser dirty too!
